​​I'm so glad you found your way here! I am a therapist offering in person counseling in Braselton, Georgia and telehealth counseling across the state of Georgia.

I chose to work in the mental health field because of my desire to help others overcome their challenges and live life more abundantly. I completed my Bachelors (2017) of Social Work with a minor in Religion, as well as my Masters (2018) of Social Work with a Certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy at The University of Georgia. I am currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Georgia (CSW008874). I am a member of both the Georgia Christian Counselors Association and the Christian Trauma Healing Network. I have a passion for working alongside others as they experience growth and healing. 

 

I work with women and youth who are dealing with experiences of trauma, mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, or mood swings, facing life transitions, dealing with the effects of chronic health conditions, dealing with the effects of a crisis, experiencing psychosomatic symptoms, and/or are navigating the impact of these struggles on their faith.

I offer Christian counseling from a Biblically based perspective and work with people at various places in their faith journey.

I utilize an integrated treatment approach based on my clients' needs utilizing aspects of insight oriented, Cognitive Behavioral, solution focused, and strengths based therapies. I implement trauma-informed and attachment-based approaches with a focus on growth, overcoming, forgiveness, and resilience. I am also trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy through the EMDR Institute. I offer a Christian, faith integrated EMDR therapy approach to integrate my clients' faith and a Biblical worldview into treatment. EMDR can also be an excellent option for clients who have difficulty verbalizing their emotions and/or trauma.

 During your first session, we'll explore what brought you to therapy and identify your goals for treatment. Throughout the therapeutic process, I have a down to earth and authentic approach.

Personal: I am a follower of Christ, a wife, and a mother. I enjoy spending time with my family, volunteering, reading a good book, listening to podcasts, experimenting with DIY projects, and venturing outdoors to hike or kayak.
